Metal Electrical Conduit
It can be buried in the wall or floor to achieve concealed wiring. The inner wall is smooth and has excellent insulation, making it perfectly suitable for high-end decoration projects.
Lightweight and easy to install: This is one of its most prominent advantages. Due to its thin-wall design, EMT is significantly lighter than thick-walled conduits like RMC, making handling, cutting, and installation much less labor-intensive.
Bending Process: At room temperature, bending can be performed using a pipe bender. The minimum bending radius must be ≥6 times the pipe's outer diameter (≥10 times for concealed installations). Avoid thinning of the pipe wall at the bend (thinning rate ≤15%) to prevent strength reduction.
Compressive strength: 0.6 to 1.6MPa for conventional type, and over 4.0MPa for high-pressure type.
