Features of SC Conduit

Bending Processing: Can be bent using a conduit bender at room temperature. Minimum bending radius ≥ 6 times the conduit's outer diameter (≥ 10 times for concealed installation). Avoid wall thinning at bends (thinning rate ≤ 15%) to prevent strength reduction.

Easy Cutting: Cut using a cutting machine or hacksaw. Smooth cut edges with a file (no burrs) to prevent scratching cable jackets during wire pulling (especially multi-core communication cables and network cables).

Compatibility with Accessories: Compatible with SC conduit boxes (junction boxes, transition boxes) and conduit clamps (metal clamps, spacing ≤1.5m) to form a complete wiring system, suitable for installation on walls, floors, ceilings, and other locations.

In chemical workshops and around electroplating tanks, standard hot-dip galvanized SC conduits are susceptible to acid/alkali corrosion and should be replaced with 316L stainless steel conduits. In sensitive areas like server rooms and electrical distribution rooms, SC conduit grounding can be connected to the building's main grounding busbar to form an “equipotential protection” system, preventing safety incidents caused by static electricity or leakage currents.
